Yoga at Danyfan, Brecon, Wales

I have just come back from teaching yoga at Emma, Stevie and new addition baby Rosie’s, beautiful B&B in Brecon.

Mornings were all about yoga in the sunny conservatory and Emma’s delicious post yoga brownies. Afternoons were filled with Gemma and Katie marathon training along the canals, coach Shelly biking along side providing them with gels, waters and stories and Ross and myself attempting to run up to Penyfan where the views are astounding and snow fell.

One afternoon Stevie gave us a baking class. With Stevie’s patience and wizardry bakery skills we learnt how to make sourdough, pizza bases, focaccia, buns, loaves and flowerpot granary buns. We fell into bed that night in happy bread comas.

Evenings were spent in front of the fire eating Stevie and Emma’s beautiful meals, enjoying a glass of wine or the local G&T and then getting competitive with rounds of bananagrams.

Late summer dates will be up for grabs soon.

Yoga and tasty times in Wales, booking now

We went to Emma and Stevie’s beautiful boutique B&B in Brecon, Wales last year to yoga for 4 days. It was idyllic. We yoga-ed each morning in the conservatory, got fed the most incredible food by Stevie (come just for the food I promise you wont be disappointed), were spoiled by Emma and hiked into Brecon in the afternoons.

So, we’re off again, this time in March. Let me know if it piques your interest.

Grey Sky Dreaming

I have had a holiday, and I’d like to take it up professionally.
– Kylie Minogue.

All this grey sky makes me want to scream but, I decided dreaming of the lovely Casa Benessere was a more positive approach to take. I’m returning there with Baz Moffat (ex GB athlete and fitness wonder woman) and Karen Wilson (my mum, yoga teacher and artist) this year to yoga, run, swim, bike, eat like an Italian princess, drink enough prosecco to improve the lightness of my vinyasas and enough espressos to stay up late to star gaze.

If you are interested in coming along all the details are here. Scroll down to see both weeks (21st – 28th May & 28th – 4th June) and click on the mini poster to make it appear – as if magic – larger.

Pass the parcel if you know someone else who may be interested in this little treat.  x
